Lake Whitney Area Map

(North) Fort Worth | Dallas | East (Houston) | South (Austin/San Antonio) | West



 
From Fort Worth area:
    Take 35W south to Burleson,
Exit (Y right) on SR174.
Take about 30 miles through Joshua, Cleburne and Rio Vista to FM933 (about 5 miles past Rio Vista).
Turn left on FM933 and take about 13 miles to Country Club Rd (note: FM933 makes a right turn in Blum).
Turn right on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.

From Dallas area:
    The I-35E way
Take 35E South to Hillsboro
As you’re entering Hillsboro, take Business 77 into town.
Turn right at W. Elm (Hwy 22 and 171).
Take this to Whitney.
In Whitney, Y right onto Spur 180 and take to downtown.
Turn right on FM 933 (N Brazos St) and follow through Whitney to the first road to the left past FM 1713. This is Country Club Rd.
Turn left on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.
 
  The US 67 way
Take US 67 to Cleburne Southwest to FM 174.
Turn left on FM 174
Take about 16 miles to FM 933.
Turn left on 933 and take about 13 miles to Country Club Rd.
Turn right on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.

From Houston area:
    The Hwy 6 way
Go west of Houston and take Hwy 6 north to Waco area
As you’re entering Waco, turn right on Loop 340.
Take Loop 340 past I-35 to FM 933 (Gholson Rd).
Turn right on FM 933 and go about 35 miles through Whitney to the first road to the left past FM 1713. This is Country Club Rd.
Turn left on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.
 
  The I-45 way
Take I-45 North to Corsicana to Exit 229 (Business I-45)
Turn left on Business I-45 (US-287) and take to Hwy 22 (2nd St)
Turn left on Hwy 22 and take about 53 miles to Whitney
In Whitney, Y right onto Spur 180 and take to downtown.
Turn right on FM 933 (N Brazos St) and follow through Whitney to the first road to the left past FM 1713. This is Country Club Rd.
Turn left on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.

From the South I-35 corridor:
    Exit at Hillsboro
Take 35E North to Hillsboro
As you’re entering Hillsboro, take Business 77 into town.
Turn left at W. Elm (Hwy 22 and 171).
Take this to Whitney.

    Exit at West (about 5 miles shorter than the Hillsboro way)
Take 35E North to West
In West, take exit 353 and turn left at the light.
Take FM 2114 about 8.5 miles to FM 933.
Turn right on FM 933 and follow through Whitney to the first road to the left past FM 1713. This is Country Club Rd.
Turn left on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.

From the South US-281 corridor: From the North US-281 corridor:
    Take US-281 North to Hamilton.
Turn right onto Hwy 22 until you come to Whitney.
Turn left on FM 933 and follow through Whitney to the first road to the left past FM 1713. This is Country Club Rd.
Turn left on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.
 
    Take US-281 South to Hico.
Turn left onto Hwy 6 until you come to Meridian.
Turn left onto Hwy 22 until you come to Whitney.
Turn left on FM 933 and follow through Whitney to the first road to the left past FM 1713. This is Country Club Rd.
Turn left on Country Club Rd, and take it about a mile.
It's on the left just past the large ponds on either side.
