What to bring?

We're an easy quarter-mile walk from the lake, and we back up to the Corps of Engineer lake property, so bring some sturdy shoes or boots if you wish to hike around.

If you're going to the lake, don't forget to bring swimsuit, beach towel, sunscreen, cooler and whatever else you might want out at the lake.

The meeting/crafting room includes a TV, DVD player, cd player, microwave and small refrigerator for your snacks. There's also a TV and DVD player in the main living room.

Scrapbooking Retreats
Don't forget to bring:

  • Tools for their projects
  • Idea books or magazines
  • Scrapbooks & Supplies (including pictures)
  • Cardstock
  • Adhesives to Mount
  • Stamps & Ink pads if you are a stamper
  • Embossing Tools
  • Stencils, Die Cuts, Stickers
  • Cutting system or personal cutter
  • Camera (to take pictures of ideas)
  • Notebook (to write down ideas)
  • Snacks & drinks for yourself - SideKick's are provided to hold drinks and trash
  • And of course...clothes and toiletries, swim suit, beach towel & sunscreen for summer/warm weather months. A robe & slippers suggested for late night comfortable cropping, jacket or sweater.

At present, we have no crafting supplies and Whitney is a small town with limited crafting materials available. Please bring all the crafting supplies you will need prior to coming out. If you're coming with a consultant/demonstrator, they may have supplies for purchase.
